Mike Carter is Logile’s Vice President – Business Development. Mike is responsible for bringing the power of Logile’s solutions and services to the marketplace through new business development, strategic relationships and partnerships that ultimately deliver customer solutions to their problems, resulting in improved service and performance.
Mike joined Logile in 2013 to capitalize on and push forward the success Logile’s services and solutions have gained in the marketplace. Mike is uniquely qualified to do this, having served in a variety of senior executive and operational positions with premier grocery, drug and specialty retailers over a 30 year career, including H-E-B Grocery, Supervalu, A&P Grocery, Radio Shack, Minyard Foods, and CVS Pharmacy. Mike has also served as the principal in an independent consulting firm, providing business strategy and implementation advice to major regional retailers and their owners. Projects included organizational redesign, company rebranding, format evaluation, customer service initiatives, process and cost improvements, talent assessment/succession planning, targeted merchandising, and account strategies.
Mike is an active participant in community and charitable causes. He has served in leadership roles with The American Heart Association. He is passionate about developing the next generation of leaders, and has served as a board member for the Austin Children’s Museum, a business mentor for the NBA’s Read to Achieve program, and as a volunteer coach for local athletic programs.
Mike holds a Masters of Business Administration and Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Texas at Austin.
