As Director, Product Management, Rusty leads Logile’s Product Management of all labor model and planning initiatives.
Logile’s labor model and planning initiatives include the following modules: Enterprise Standards manager™ – a comprehensive tool to build and maintain engineered labor standards for your organization. Enterprise Labor Model™ – a tool that develops effective labor plans, using your preferred work methods, engineered labor standards and unique store and department characteristics. Sales and Labor Planning™ – a tool used to set up guidelines for selecting the most appropriate algorithms to improve forecasting accuracy. Demand Forecasting – a tool that generates the most accurate forecast for sales, SKU, individual and consolidated UPCs to support forecasting need across the retail chain.
Rusty joined Logile in 2011, bringing over 10 years of experience in management consulting where he managed large scale software implementations and workforce improvement projects to major retailers throughout the United States and several clients internationally. Rusty’s workforce management expertise includes labor modeling (bottom up and top down), labor and sales forecasting, engineered labor standards, workforce productivity, and real-time plan optimization.
Prior to joining Logile, Rusty worked for management consulting firm Accenture. At Accenture, Rusty provided leadership and project management expertise to apply traditional industrial engineering principles to a variety of industries and environments. His efforts led to increased workforce performance that improved customer service and achieved significant labor savings. While at Accenture, Rusty worked with clients such as Pilot Travel Centers, Ross, Wegmans Food Markets, Delhaize America, Supervalu, Big Y, Cox Communications, and others. Prior to that, Rusty worked for HB Maynard for several years until they were acquired by Accenture.
Rusty has a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from West Virginia University.
