NRF 2024: Logile’s Top 4 Highlights

1) Schnuck Markets, Inc. sharing how they are using AI and machine-learning technology to empower a connected workforce and deliver a superior customer experience

This Big Ideas session with Schnuck Markets, Inc. moderated by Kevin Coupe of MorningNewsBeat was an illuminating exploration into how Schnucks uses innovative AI and machine-learning technologies for accurate forecasting, store-level inventory planning and optimization including fresh production, food safety, store planning, and gig (flex) scheduling. Schnucks’ Tom Henry, Chief Data and Deputy Chief Information Officer, and Kim Anderson, VP of Operations Support, shared interesting insights into not only how technology is empowering their workforce and improving the customer experience, but also anecdotes that brought their employee-centric and customer-centric culture to life.

2) Coborn’s, Inc. spotlight on game-changing Thermal IntelligenceTM temperature-sensing technology for both hot and cold foods

The Foodservice Innovation Zone was a hotbed of activity as food safety took center stage. Coborn’s, Inc.‘s Chris Schlichting, Detwiler Consulting Group, LLC‘s Dr. Darin Detwiler, LP.D., BluLine Solutions LLC‘s Dean Hornsby and Logile’s Rick Schlenker participated in a panel discussion showcasing how innovative new Thermal Intelligence solution is advancing food safety and profitability. Unlike other solutions on the market, this automated, thermal engineered liquid-based wireless temperature sensor solution works to monitor both hot and cold foods by measuring actual food temperatures, not just ambient air temperatures. 3) Brookshire Grocery Company’s rollout of Logile’s retail labor planning and workforce management solutions

Industry leader Brookshire Grocery Company’s (BGC) successful labor planning and WFM solution rollout, including labor standards, earned hours program and automated scheduling, was announced during Retail’s Big Show. BGC replaced its legacy WFM solution with Logile to improve flexibility, the associate experience and operational effectiveness. Read the press release.
