Logile Inc., a leader in workforce management solutions, announces it is now providing Labor Management training, utilizing a new training ecosystem with enhanced training capabilities. Five courses led by highly qualified training instructors will reinforce Labor Management techniques, tools, and best practices for retail organizations to optimize labor productivity and enhance customer service.
Dan Bursik, Logile’s VP for Best Practices, said “Retailers ranging from small to large chains are striving to be more proactive in improving their practices and optimizing their labor resources. Logile can help organizations effectively train their people to operationalize labor standards and use labor management systems to drive operational efficiencies, improve customer satisfaction, and build top line sales. Retailers can make strides with applied industrial engineering, effective workforce planning, and operations management. Logile provides these services, but retailers should build their own capacity, in order to lead and sustain their internal efforts, as well as partner successfully with their vendors. That takes training, and this is the training our new courses provide.”
Rick Schlenker, Logile’s SVP for Sales and Marketing, said “The courses are available now in either open sessions hosted by Logile, or in closed sessions that can be specifically tailored to one organization at a site they choose. We are pleased to make these sessions available to our existing customers and other retailers to train their teams or refresh their approaches to find and drive new opportunities for improvements through applied industrial engineering and smart labor management techniques. Whether companies use our software tools or someone else’s, Logile’s labor management and productivity training can help retailers to drive benefits and lay the groundwork for future improvements.”
Logile’s five announced course offerings are: Labor Management 101, an overview course; Engineered Labor Standards for Retail; Implementing 5-S for Continuous Improvement; Measuring and Managing Productivity; and Supporting Best Practices through Visual Documentation. Additional advanced courses are in development.
